The draft schedules for the 2017 MLB season came out yesterday, and I've been taking a quick look.
The Giants open the season in Arizona - this is a tempting prospect, if I can get the tickets, with it being the opening series of the season. It would have completed my set of all the current MLB ballparks ... except the Atlanta Braves are starting in a new ballpark in 2017, so I no longer have their current ballpark on my list of places that I have visited!
Atlanta have a strange looking schedule - they don't play many home games at all in April or July. They don't actually play their first home game until Good Friday - two weeks into the start of the season, and I don't really want to wait that long, so I may try visiting them in September, when they have quite a few home series against Texas, Miami, New York Mets and the Washington Nationals.
The Giants have the Cardinals, Dodgers and Diamondbacks at home in September.
